General Rental Conditions

This document informs LVH VACANCES customers, prior to signing their contract, of the content and services relating to their stay, the price and terms of payment, the conditions for canceling and modifying the contract. We reserve the right to make changes to the information relating to prices, as well as to the opening and closing dates of the residences and hotels offered, according to the terms defined in the general conditions and without these possible changes engaging our company.

As far as possible, we undertake to communicate to the interested parties, as soon as possible, any modifications that we may be required to make to this information before the conclusion of their contract.

 

1 - Registration and reservation conditions

For single stays, any registration must be accompanied by a payment including:

 
  • administration fees - except hotel reservation.

  • for online reservations: 10€ per reservation

  • for others: administration fees of 20€ per reservation

No booking fees will be charged for reservations made in the residences

 
  • the deposit corresponding to:

25% of the overall price of your rental and any additional services, whether integrated or not, and in particular catering, ski passes and ski equipment, etc.

100% of the price of insurance premiums if you wish to take them.

 

For the Alta Peyra hotel

 

 For refundable stays:

The deposit corresponding to 50% of the overall price of your stay and any additional services, whether or not integrated, and in particular catering, ski passes and equipment, etc., and 100% of the price of insurance premiums if you wish to take them. Payment must reach us within 5 working days after creating your file. After this period, your option will be canceled.

For non-refundable stays:

100% of the total price of your stay, including the price of insurance premiums if you wish to purchase them. Any additional services, whether integrated or not, and in particular catering, ski passes and ski equipment, etc., being refundable (under conditions) only 50% deposit will be required. Settlement is immediate.

Your reservation is considered final as soon as it has been confirmed by us (sending a reservation confirmation by email).

Without confirmation from us, your reservation cannot be considered final.

 

Nota Bene: We present a general description and photos of our apartments as an indication and not contractual.

Some apartments are equipped for people with reduced mobility. Do not hesitate to ask us questions when booking. We remind you, moreover, that any possible request concerning a specific orientation or situation of the apartment is considered as a simple preference and does not constitute a contractual guarantee. All our establishments are non-smoking.

You are asked for the date of birth and the name of each participant. It is necessary for the reservation of additional services. In case of false declaration, the customer will be held solely responsible for the financial penalties that this could generate.

 

2 - Payment of the balance

 

 

For the Alta Peyra hotel:

The full amount of your stay and any pre-booked additional services are due on the day of your arrival. The balance of your stay will be automatically debited from the credit card used to pay the deposit. In case of payment of the deposit by transfer, a credit card imprint will be requested to guarantee the amount of the stay. Additional services consumed on site will be paid at the end of your stay.

 

For other establishments:

The full price of your rental and any additional services are due 30 days before the start of your stay. In the event of a late reservation, less than 35 days before arrival, the total amount of the stay will be claimed upon reservation. In the event of a balance not paid 16 days before arrival, LVH VACANCES reserves the right to consider your reservation canceled and to apply the cancellation conditions provided for this purpose and defined below accordingly.

Important: in the event of an online reservation with payment of the deposit by credit card, the balance will be automatically withdrawn on D-30

 

3 - Method of payment

To pay for your reservation you can pay by credit card, check, holiday voucher or bank transfer

Please note: payments for people living outside France can only be made by credit card or bank transfer

3.1 - Price

Our prices are inclusive of all taxes and include the provision of accommodation, charges included (water, electricity, heating), with the exception of the tourist tax, payable directly on site. Unless otherwise specified, the prices appearing in the tables are understood to be:

- for hotels: per person based on accommodation in a double room occupied by 2 adults. Child discounts apply if children stay in the room of 2 adults paying the full price;

- for rentals: per accommodation. The occupancy of the accommodation is strictly limited to the number of people indicated and can under no circumstances be inhabited by a greater number of people except 1 baby per accommodation.

 

3.2 - Tourist taxes

The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the municipalities, is not included in our rates. Its amount varies according to the municipalities. It is to be paid on site.

 

4 - Modification and cancellation of the stay

4.1 - Modification

Any request for modification must be sent in writing to our reservations department either by email, fax or post. The modification will only be effective after confirmation by our services and sending of a new reservation contract.

 

a) Modification of apartment type

Our reservation department will endeavor to confirm as quickly as possible your requests to modify the type of apartment, subject to availability. If the amount of your reservation (excluding optional services) after modification turns out to be less than the amount of the reservation before modification, a 10€ modification fee will be billed to you. Less than 30 days before departure, the following conditions apply:

 

 
  • if your request is made between 30 and 15 days before your arrival: 15% *

  • if your request is made between 14 and 8 days before your arrival: 30% *

  • if your request is made between 7 and 4 days before your arrival: 50% *

* of the price difference.

 

b) Change the date of stay

Our reservation department will do its best to confirm your requests to change the date of stay as quickly as possible, subject to availability. However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that this type of modification generates variable costs for LVH VACANCES depending on the date on which you make your request. Also for the satisfaction of any modification of the date of stay, we will retain the following indemnities:

 
  • if your modification request is made before 30 days preceding your arrival and if the amount of the modified reservation is less than the amount of the initial reservation: 10€

  • if your request is made between 30 and 15 days before your arrival: 15% *

  • if your request is made between 14 and 8 days before your arrival: 30% *

  • if your request is made between 7 and 4 days before your arrival: 50% *

* of the total amount of the stay (excluding booking fees).

We will not accept any request within 3 days of your arrival.

The increase in the length of your stay will be made within the limit of availability at no additional cost

Any request to reduce the length of your stay will be considered as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation procedures referred to in point 4.2 below.

 

4.2 - Cancellation (total or partial)

In the event of cancellation, you must notify us either by mail at the following address LVH VACANCES - 1414 avenue des Landiers - 73000 CHAMBERY or by fax at +33 (0) 4 79 62 98 85, or by email at the following address: info@lvh-vacances.com The date of receipt of the notification determines the date of cancellation.

 

For residences

From the 30th day before your stay, we will retain the following allowances according to your stay formula:

 
  • if your request is made between 30 and 21 days before your arrival: 25% *

  • if your request is made between 20 and 15 days before your arrival: 50% *

  • if your request is made between 14 and 8 days before your arrival: 75% *

  • if your cancellation request is made 7 days or less before your arrival, or no show: 100% *

* of the total amount of accommodation.

 

For Hotel Vancouver

  • if your cancellation request is made more than 7 days before your arrival: free of charge

  • if your request is made between 7 and 1 day before your arrival: 30% *

  • if your cancellation request is made on the day of your arrival, or no show: 100% *

For the Alta Peyra hotel

  • reservation according to a non-refundable formula: 100% *

  • if your cancellation request is made more than 20 days before your arrival: free of charge

  • if your request is made between 20 and 7 days before your arrival: 50% *

  • if your cancellation request is made less than 7 days preceding the day of your arrival, or no show: 100% *

* of the total amount of accommodation.

 

These cancellation fees apply reciprocally. Whatever the reason for your cancellation, the amount of these costs cannot be reduced. Any interrupted or shortened stay or any service not consumed by the holidaymaker for any reason whatsoever, does not give rise to any refund.

 

5 - Arrival and departure

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the absence of full payment of the price despite reminders, the keys cannot be handed over if you show up at the place of your stay.

In residence: Arrivals are generally on Saturdays between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and departures before 10 a.m. These times will be confirmed to you on your travel documents. It is advisable to notify the reception manager of the approximate time of arrival. On arrival, it is requested that you check the cleanliness of the apartment and the inventory. Any breach must be reported on site as quickly as possible in order to find an immediate solution. Failure to comply with these requirements may have an influence on the determination of any compensation. On the day of departure, the accommodation must be left in a good state of cleanliness. We would like to point out that in the event that the accommodation is not returned in a decent state of cleanliness and / or that the kitchen area has not been tidied up and / or cleaned, we will be forced to charge you an end-of-stay cleaning fee. - price according to the type of apartment.

At the hotel: Arrivals are from 5 p.m. and departures before 10 a.m.

For any information, the contact details of the reception of the residence / hotel will appear on the travel documents. In the event of a late arrival, it is essential to notify the residence / hotel in order to obtain any access codes or key collection procedure.

 

6 - Security deposit or surety

A deposit of 500 euros per accommodation made available will be requested upon arrival. Any lost key will be billed to the customer. The customer is held responsible for any broken or damaged object and any damage that may be caused to the installations and fittings of the residence. If this deposit turns out to be insufficient, you will therefore be asked to complete it. It is up to you to fix the appointment for the exit inventory with the person in charge of the residence and to ensure that the deposit paid on arrival is returned to you: either directly on the day of departure after the inspection. places, or by mail within 6 weeks less any amounts of rental damage, cleaning costs, tourist tax, extras and various consumptions directly from holidaymakers.

 

7 - Animals

Pets are accepted on presentation of an anti-rabies certificate, tattooed, vaccinated, (one animal maximum per apartment), against payment of a supplement. They are authorized, kept on a leash, in the common areas but are prohibited near the swimming pools. The owners are responsible for the good behavior and the cleanliness associated with their animals. Payment is made when booking your stay.

 

8 - Internal regulations and disturbances

In order to make your vacation more enjoyable, internal regulations are available in each establishment; We thank you for taking note and respecting them (for example: lawns, swimming pool, parking regulations, etc.). Your personal items are strictly your responsibility. Consequently, LVH VACANCES cannot be held liable in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal effects in our establishments, both in the apartments and in the car park or common areas (ski rooms). It is therefore recommended that holidaymakers be personally insured for civil liability.

In the event of force majeure or fortuitous events, neither the tour operator, nor the intermediaries, can be responsible for any nuisance that would disrupt, interrupt or prevent your stay (avalanche, drought, flood, oil spill, general power cut. , gas, water, strike, work ...).

By works, we generally mean construction of roads, buildings ... which can take place around your place of stay. The travel organizer and its intermediaries cannot be held responsible for acts of third parties with whom they have no contract. Holidaymakers will be informed of these possible nuisances on the sole condition that we ourselves have been informed.

 

9 - After-sales services

Our on-site teams are at your disposal during your stay to respond to your complaints, resolve any malfunctions noted and allow you to fully enjoy your vacation. You should contact us for any request. Any complaint, after your stay, must be addressed:

 
  • by letter sent, by registered letter with return receipt, to LVH VACANCES - 1414 avenue des Landiers - 73000 CHAMBERY

  • or by sending an email to the address: info@lvh-vacances.com within 1 month after the end of your stay, so that we can respond as soon as possible. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the longer you delay in informing us of your complaints, the more we are likely to experience difficulties in settling your request in your best interests. We also thank you for specifying, in your letter, the name of the person having reserved the stay, the number of the reservation, the place and dates of your stay as well as the type of apartment or room reserved so as to facilitate the process of your file. Likewise, we thank you for attaching to your letter all supporting documents allowing us to limit the processing time.

11 - Information

The reservation of your stay implies the acceptance of our general and particular conditions of sale. All the information concerning the sports and leisure activities of the resorts are transmitted to us by the Tourist Offices and are communicated to you for information only. They do not engage our responsibility in the event that one of them no longer exists during your stay. For any further information relating to any of these resorts, please contact their respective offices directly.
